Q (Continued from 7/16/2014 meeting in cafe)
Q covered Rob's hand with his own, guiding it higher and then turning away. With his attention focused back out the window, it was hard to believe he'd said anything at all. Q was so terribly good at appearing disinterested and calm.
It was, actually, terribly impressive how Quentin pretended not to care as with that encouragement Robin slid his hand higher. Determined to get some reaction out of him, he began to very lightly massage his groin, and then leaned in and whispered into his ear, "I'm going to make you forget your own name. More than once. I'd start now if this were a longer trip."

"No rush," he assured him.
He quite enjoyed Rob, if he was honest. Generally, Q gravitated to older men, but for all Rob looked relatively close in age to himself, he had an air about him that made him seem somewhat mature- Or, at the very least, worldly. Q was drawn to that, and his lips roamed lower to his jaw and then his neck as he continued to shower the other man with a small show of affection.

He continued to rub him lightly over his trousers as well, until he felt the taxi come to a halt. "Damn," he said quietly, and then pulled away, and pulled out his wallet to pay the driver and provide him with a generous tip.

Shaking it off, he turned his attention to Rob.
"What are we eating then? I've never been here before."

"Southeast Asian," Robin said, leading him inside what appeared to be a rambling four story Fitzrovia townhouse. "A taste of 1930s Saigon." Which was one of the reasons Robin liked it. He'd spent some time there in just that time period.
Inside it was all bamboo, tobacco-washed walls, dark wooden blinds, peppered with intimate nooks and crannies. The hostess was a beautiful woman in a tight, black dress, and when Robin spoke to her in Vietnamese she led them to a small, private room. Typically held for small parties of perhaps ten people, but they'd put in a smaller table.
"I'm not just showing off," Robin said with a grin as he pulled a seat out of Quentin. "They were very booked up for the evening."

He made no move to pick up the menu though- This was as much a challenge as it was a game to the young quartermaster. He'd given Rob full control of the evening, and he was perfectly content to see how far the other man would take it. Outside of code and computers, one of Q's most favourite things was seeing what made people tick. To see what they would do in certain situations.

"All of them, sir?" the waiter asked.
Robin laughed. "No, not to start. Let's say a dozen of whatever the bartender thinks are the best. And the grilled prawns, to start."
When the waiter was gone, Robin looked at Quentin and said, "The best selection of Japanese whiskey in the city." He had every intention of ordering from them, and would remember Quentin's advisory of no pork or red meat.

"I can't recall the last time I was drunk," he admitted, glasses sliding down his nose a bit as he studied Rob. "I don't often let myself indulge."

"So, if business has become dull, do you intend to do something else?" he asked curiously.

"For some of us, work isn't so simple. Jobs can't be handed off," he sighed, reading the text, then frowning to himself.
"I'm sorry Rob, I need to make a quick call. I won't be a moment," he promised as he got to his feet to take the phone outside. -Even if it hadn't been sensitive, he'd never be so rude as to take a work call at a dinner table.

He helped himself during Quentin's absence.

He was frowning when he returned though, the dark circles under his eyes a bit more visible now somehow.
"I apologize. Minor crises at work. I believe it's being taken care of though," he said as he took one of the whiskey's and held it up in toast.

"To enjoying the evening," he said pleasantly.

"I want you to enjoy yourself," he said, and pushed one of the glasses towards him. "And one should enjoy a twenty-one year-old Hibiki."

"Is this somewhere you come often?" he asked curiously.

The waiter arrived then and asked if they were ready to order food, and Robin rattled off an order: vegetable curry, seared scallops, coconut rice, blistered beans in oyster sauce.

"So, where will we go after dinner then? Yours, mine, somewhere new?" Q asked.

"I'm sure it's twice as interesting as mine," he replied, turning his head slightly to glance at Rob.
