Q (Continued from 7/16/2014 meeting in cafe)
Q covered Rob's hand with his own, guiding it higher and then turning away. With his attention focused back out the window, it was hard to believe he'd said anything at all. Q was so terribly good at appearing disinterested and calm.
It was, actually, terribly impressive how Quentin pretended not to care as with that encouragement Robin slid his hand higher. Determined to get some reaction out of him, he began to very lightly massage his groin, and then leaned in and whispered into his ear, "I'm going to make you forget your own name. More than once. I'd start now if this were a longer trip."

"I'm still pretending you didn't say that," Q replied flatly. "My understanding was that we don't confide in one another Rob, that's not how this works."

What, was he going to complain? It wasn't like he cared or something. That's not how this worked with anyone.
"Drink your tea," he said, holding the cup out, though he set his aside on the table so that he could draw a hand down Quentin's side instead.

Q said nothing at first, but thanked him with a nod as he took the cup and sat back down in an attempt to calm himself.
"I apologize, I'm not good company tonight," he admitted. "Perhaps I should go while you still have time to salvage your night," he offered, being perfectly genuine. There was no reason for Rob's night to be spoiled by this.

"Of course if you want to leave I won't stop you," he said. "But are you sure you don't want to let me distract you?" It wasn't exactly a kindness so much as genuine desire on his part. Well. Perhaps a little bit of kindness as he really would prefer to see the other man relax.

Q honestly didn't think he could relax- nor reach any state of arousal in his current mood.
It felt as if the walls were closing in on him as Terrance seeped slowly into his life, appearing and vanishing, like some sort of malicious spirit.
"I apologize," he said again, trying to be kind as he refused the other man.

"Then I'll call you a cab after you finish your tea."
