Q (Continued from 7/16/2014 meeting in cafe)
Q covered Rob's hand with his own, guiding it higher and then turning away. With his attention focused back out the window, it was hard to believe he'd said anything at all. Q was so terribly good at appearing disinterested and calm.
It was, actually, terribly impressive how Quentin pretended not to care as with that encouragement Robin slid his hand higher. Determined to get some reaction out of him, he began to very lightly massage his groin, and then leaned in and whispered into his ear, "I'm going to make you forget your own name. More than once. I'd start now if this were a longer trip."

"Well good, then you can just impress me instead," Robin teased, and stabbed the last scallop with his fork. "What do you say, dessert to go?"

"Sounds perfect," Q nodded. "I'm ready to leave as soon as you are. I find myself quite ready to be somewhere a bit less public."

Suddenly, all he could think about was that bloody Aston Martin and the soft purr of its engine as James tore through the streets, and Q frowned to himself.
"Yes, well, you've waited this long. You can wait a while longer. I do admire a man with self control after all."

"Let's," Q nodded, picking up his own bag and following Rob outside.
"I'd kill for a real vacation," he admitted once they were out on the pavement. "Somewhere sunny- Spain maybe. Somewhere far from work and my stalker of an ex. Somewhere well-away from London," he mused aloud, voicing things he usually wouldn't.

Q settled in, getting comfortable and letting himself relax.
"I'm glad I ran into you, Rob. I needed a distraction tonight I think."

Though it's always like this, it feels like. You're always on the prowl it seems. I've never seen a glimpse of your real life. Just the sex and the sleaze. It all feels a bit hollow sometimes," he confessed, beginning to get a bit melancholy.

And that was quite a mood swing. No more whiskey for this one.
He leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Ask me what you like, kitten. I'm an open book - " Lie. "But I don't think you're really one to talk, hmm?" Vague and more vague was Quentin about his own life, which didn't actually bother Robin all that much.

"No. I'm quite a good thief as well, when the need arises," he admitted.

"Alcohol often has that effect on me," he confessed, reaching and stroking Rob's hair.
The cab came to a stop, and Q slid out first, needing some air and leaving Rob to pay. Leaning against a lamppost, he stared off into the distance- and then spotted a familiar face. ...An unsettling face
For the past month Terrance had been haunting him. Appearing and vanishing, turning up in places he shouldn't have been. Leaving gifts, sending texts... Stalking, Bond had said. This shadow from his old life was stalking him.
Exhaling with a shudder, Q held his gaze, refusing to take his eyes off the other man.

"Who is that?"

Panting, it took Q a moment to catch his breath.
"Apologies," was all he said.
