Nyx
Robin had heard about Nyx's accident fairly quickly thanks to a push notification on his phone from some news app. The first thing he'd done was talk to Rain, and was glad to hear that Nyx was getting care in the fae lands... but still, he worried about him. And was glad when Rain let him know that his brother was healed up and back in the city.
So one evening he went to the bar, hoping to find him.
"Ah, hello beautiful," he said when he walked in and saw him there.

"Hey, fancy seeing you here," he teased with a smile, leaning in to kiss Robin's cheek.

"When I die it's going to be much more spectacular than a car," Nyx joked. "At least a train or a helicopter."
He did a little spin, picking his tea back up off the bar. "I'm doing just fine though, as you can see."

"Mmm, annoying though it often is, Will does tend to know what's best," Nyx admitted, perching himself on a barstool and inviting Robin to join him.

"He did. We've been reconnecting lately," Nyx admitted. "It's like it was when we first met."

"I am. ...And sober. It's been a while since I was sober," Nyx admitted.

"I don't know," Nyx admitted. "I've already had a few small slip ups..."
He hesitated a beat, then wet his lips. "If I told you a secret- Would you promise to keep it to yourself?"

"Let's go upstairs," Nyx suggested, gesturing for Robin to follow him up to the flat. He was fairly certain no one was home.

Nyx let them in, nearly grabbing a bottle of wine- Then pausing and clicking on the kettle instead.
"I've been seeing someone. I mean, I see a lot of people, that's no secret, but- This is different," Nyx said softly.

"It's not like Will or Hex, it's more like an arrangement... Business, even," Nyx explained awkwardly.

"A vampire, actually. He gets my blood, I get a bite. ...And whatever else might unfold," Nyx said awkwardly.

"Well, about that... That might have been part of the reason I was so out of it on Halloween. I might have encouraged him to nearly drain me dry that night," Nyx admitted. "...And I've seen him again since I got back. He's turning out to be a habit I'm not keen to quit."

"I mean... I'm not stone sober," Nyx said awkwardly. "I'm just limiting things a bit. ...I see him every week though."

"It's brilliant," Nyx said bluntly and honestly. "Sometimes it feels like he could tear me apart, but in the most divine way. Like an offering to the gods. ...I used to be scared of vampires, we used to get told horror stories about them, but now? Well, it's very different now."
