Nyx
Robin had heard about Nyx's accident fairly quickly thanks to a push notification on his phone from some news app. The first thing he'd done was talk to Rain, and was glad to hear that Nyx was getting care in the fae lands... but still, he worried about him. And was glad when Rain let him know that his brother was healed up and back in the city.
So one evening he went to the bar, hoping to find him.
"Ah, hello beautiful," he said when he walked in and saw him there.

"Are you still spending time with my brother?" he asked, bringing over a pot of tea and two glasses.
"There's scotch, if you'd rather," he noted as he put the tray down on a table.

"You're spending a lot of time together. Sounds like you're practically roommates," Nyx snorted, pouring them each a cup of tea, and adding quite a lot of sugar to his own.

"...Really?" Nyx asked, looking a bit more shocked than he meant to.

"So he's just in your guest room? ...Do you have a guest room?" Nyx asked. "Doesn't he melt in the sunlight? It's been a solid decade since he was out in it," he joked.

Nyx blinked, opening his mouth to speak, then shutting it again.
"Right," he said finally. "I... Well, that's a surprise."

"Sounds like he's getting there though," Nyx replied, brow creasing slightly.

"I didn't say you were," Nyx assured him. "Sharing a bed is just so intimate."

"Are you hoping that will change?" Nyx asked, still trying to wrap his head around Robin's relationship with his brother.

"You're a stronger man than I am. I couldn't share a bed with someone I was certain didn't want me the way I wanted them," Nyx admitted. "It would break my heart."

"I just can't imagine him ever being intimate with someone. I assume he has been, at some point, but... I mean that sort of this was expected of us when we were both still home," Nyx said. "It wasn't as though he was eager."
no subject
"Maybe that's not what I meant," he said after a moment. "What about... emotional intimacy?"
no subject
"I don't know. Honestly, Robin, he's never really invited me into that part of his life," Nyx admitted. "He's always been so private. Shy, even."

"Look, it's not my place to pry, just... Promise me you'll be kind," Nyx said softly.

He just nodded.

Nyx smiled, leaning over and kissing Robin's cheek.
"You're a good soul, Robin."
