Prometheus

Robin hadn't heard another peep about a potential puck in town. As far as he knew the mysterious naked jewelry thief hadn't been caught, and also hadn't made any other hits - at least not any that had eye witnesses or had caught him on camera. Though he might have preferred hearing something; the nugget of threat and then a lack of closure just had him on edge.

He knew he'd probably been a dick because of it, too. When Robin was uncomfortable, and especially if that discomfort had an edge of fear, he overcompensated. He pretended everything was fine, which meant he amped his Robin-ness up to eleven. Figuratively, he'd been swinging from chandeliers.

Which is why he was drunk and stumbling into the flat at 7:45 in the morning. He also couldn't remember where he'd left his shirt.

He tried to be quiet, but ended up crashing into the kitchen table and sending a bowl of apples crashing to the ground and rolling about. He swore.

"I don't believe that, Robin. You've many admirers and friends here," Prometheus smiled. "I'm happy to steal you away for a few days though."

"I'll book the train tickets, you start packing," Robin said, and kissed him quickly before climbing out of the bed.

The titan stretched lazily, then reluctantly got out of bed. He grabbed a few simple suits and some extra button down shirts. then sorted out toiletries for them both.

"Should we bring coats?" he asked.

"Oh, I think even there, it doesn't get extraordinarily cold in the summer," Robin said, as the train tickets spit out of the printer.

Prometheus considered that, then nodded, selecting a few items for Robin and then zipping up the bag.

"Then I believe we're packed and ready, dove."

Robin liked when Prometheus called him dove.

"Let's go," he said. "I'll get a car to take us to the train station." He pulled out his phone as he walked over to Prometheus and put a hand on his back.

Leaning over, he kissed Robin's cheek. this would be nice, he thought. A rare treat for them both.

Eventually they were on the train, and in a matter of hours they'd arrived. This time of year it wouldn't be hard to find a villa or cabin to rent. Most people were off at the shore, not hiding out in the mountains.

Robin was one step ahead of him. This was what Airbnb was for. When they got off the train, he held out his phone to show Prometheus. The villa he'd rented, not far from the best ski resort in Chamonix. "What do you think?"

"It looks beautiful," the titan smiled. "I'm usually much better at planning, but on this occasion I'm very fortunate to have you at my side."

"If there's one thing I'm good at it's living well," Robin said.

They made their way to a taxi, and it wasn't a long drive to the villa, which was large and impressive. "This is perfect," Robin sighed. "There's an indoor pool and a hot tub, too."

"I should have brought my paints," Prometheus said, looking out at the views. "This place begs to be captured on canvas."

[goodfellow]

"Oh..." said Robin, looking around. "Oh, yes. No, we can remedy that. There's a town not far from here, they might not be entirely up to your standards but I'm sure we can find some paints that will do."

The titan smiled at that, then turned to look at the puck.

"Later. For now I'm content to just look at you, dove," he said, pulling Robin in close and kissing him soundly.

Robin kissed him back and when he pulled away said breathlessly, "Well, you could also paint me, which is just more of an excuse to stare at me. Maybe I should fill the club with portraits of myself."

The titan chuckled, shaking his head and indulging the puck's ego.

"Oh, but then they'd never dance or buy drinks, dove. They'd be far too busy admiring you- Every angle, line and curve."

[goodfellow]

Robin practically purred in response to that. "Well, yes, I suppose that is a risk. Though not all of the portraits would be naked, that should help..."

"Oh, your visage is as lovely as your rear, I assure you," Prometheus teased.

[goodfellow]

"Mmmm good answer. Still, I do think we can get you some paints. Though for now you can just gaze upon me." Robin grabbed Prometheus' hand and pulled him towards the front door, where he was able to let them in with a code on a keypad lock.

The titan followed along, only letting go once they were inside so he could look around. It was a beautiful place, and he glanced over at Robin.

"Perhaps we should have a vacation home somewhere. Some pretty place to slip off to from time to time."

"I think that sounds lovely," Robin said. "Greece, maybe? Though then we wouldn't have the satisfaction of fucking on every available surface of a stranger's house..."

"A passion I'm not sure we share," the titan replied, raising a brow and looking mildly amused. "You are an odd one, my sweet puck."

[goodfellow]

"I really don't know how you can put up with me," Robin teased. "But if you insist, you can decide on a reasonable waiting period until we do anything to debauch these strangers' house."

"So very generous of you. After dinner, perhaps?" the titan suggested.

[goodfellow]

"Sure," Robin said. "It'll give you time to decide how you want me. The owners said the kitchen's fully stocked, we could cook."

[pecked_by_birds]

"If you'd like," Prometheus nodded. "What are you in the mood for, pet?"

Prometheus didn't cook often, but he was talented enough in the kitchen to take requests.
