Prometheus
Robin hadn't heard another peep about a potential puck in town. As far as he knew the mysterious naked jewelry thief hadn't been caught, and also hadn't made any other hits - at least not any that had eye witnesses or had caught him on camera. Though he might have preferred hearing something; the nugget of threat and then a lack of closure just had him on edge.
He knew he'd probably been a dick because of it, too. When Robin was uncomfortable, and especially if that discomfort had an edge of fear, he overcompensated. He pretended everything was fine, which meant he amped his Robin-ness up to eleven. Figuratively, he'd been swinging from chandeliers.
Which is why he was drunk and stumbling into the flat at 7:45 in the morning. He also couldn't remember where he'd left his shirt.
He tried to be quiet, but ended up crashing into the kitchen table and sending a bowl of apples crashing to the ground and rolling about. He swore.

"He was doing as he was told," Prometheus said softly. "You don't say no to Zeus, Robin."

"I was violent," the titan countered. "I could have disarmed him without causing harm."

"I know," he said, and moved a little closer, a hand on Prometheus' chest. "Though I don't know why that makes you not want me to touch you."

"I've hurt you before," he said quietly.

He had hurt him, of course. He'd left. For years. And that had fucking hurt. But it was such a long time ago that he'd physically hurt him, or threatened him. At least, anything serious.

"Because when I slip I leave," the titan said. "I put distance between us. That's how I keep you safe."

Prometheus held him tighter, pressing a kiss to his temple.
"I'm not leaving this time, dove, I promise, I just- Know if I do leave one day, it's because I love you," he said softly.

Prometheus tensed at the shove, and snarled softly- Before taking a calming breath.
"Puck," he snapped, the word a warning.

"I'm going for a walk."

The titan didn't snap back this time, he just went out. He didn't trust himself right now, he needed to reclaim his calm.

Eventually he was into the third of the bottles he'd brought from the cellar, and was sprawled on the couch in his underwear, wrapped up in the fur blanket. If Hephaestus showed up here again he'd be pretty fucked.

The titan was gone quite a while, and when he returned he simply looked tired. Silently he took the bottle from the puck and took a drink for himself as he sat down in a chair nearby.
"If Zeus wants me, that means there's a war coming," he said, rather than hello, or offering any sort of apology.

"Pu- Robin, if there is a war coming, it may involve us whether we wish to be involved or not," Prometheus said softly.

"I'll stay on the beach and drink. I've done that during wars."
