Robin did not leave New York with any particular drama. In fact, he got the impression that the entire time Prometheus was just waiting for him to decide to leave. It was fun, nostalgic even, but in the end Prometheus was right... he got restless. He got bored. And he missed London. So he left.

He returned to the club triumphantly, and immediately began making plans to throw a huge party to celebrate his return. But first he decided to make some reconnections.

Which was how after he randomly saw a tweet about "omg is that finlay flynn right there in my starbucks" he swung by.

It was indeed Finlay Flynn right there in a Starbucks. Robin sauntered behind him with his hands in his pockets and leaned towards his ear. "Boo."

"Just one," Robin said, and poured both. He handed one to Fin.

Then he took a sip of his own. "Why don't I suck you off while you drink it?"

"You're eager, more so than usual even," Fin replied, not scolding or judging, only curious. "There's no rush though, I'm not leaving, I promise. You know I like the chat nearly as much as I enjoy the flesh. ...Indulge me? I am royalty now after all," he added with a teasing little grin.

Robin arched an eyebrow, and took another drink.

"What do you want to chat about?" he asked after a beat.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"You," Fin replied, as though that were obvious. "How you've been, why you're back... Anything," he added, sipping his drink and moving closer.

His fingers gently roamed over Robin's arm, dancing playfully over skin. "Is it so odd that I enjoy talking to you? Or listening to you?"

"Well," said Robin, "I am fascinating. Obviously. But typically that waits for pillow talk."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin pouted, then sighed. "Fine, I suppose we can indulge in a more traditional sort of foreplay if that's what you'd rather."

[goodfellow]

Robin chuckled. "I'm not in a hurry, pet." He reached up and trailed a finger down Fin's face. "We can talk all you like."

Fin perked up a bit at that, leaning into the touch.

"Did you bring me back a souvenir?" he teased with a smile.

[goodfellow]

Robin patted his cheek lightly. "Oh I thought that my return would be gift enough," he said.

Then for whatever reason he decided he'd actually make an effort towards what Fin seemed to be asking of him. "I can show you something, though. Some art I brought back from New York." He set down his glass and walked over to the back wall of the living room, where he had a painting still covered in brown paper from shipping. He opened the back and took the paper off.

Moving closer, Fin focused his magic to get a clearer view.

"It's lovely," he said, taking in the slightly muted city scape with a faint smile. "Is that near where you were staying?" he asked.

"It's the view from a bookshop," Robin said, looking at Prometheus' panting for a moment. "I spent a lot of time there many years ago, as well."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"It's lovely," Fin said sincerely, smiling faintly at the puck. "Where will you hang it?" he asked.

[goodfellow]

"There by the window maybe," Robin said thoughtfully. "Reminder of a different skyline."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"How sentimental," Fin said softly, clearly approving of the idea, and a bit surprised by it. He loved these little peeks at Rob's soul.

[goodfellow]

Robin shrugged. "Well there were some good times there. Some bad times. Like anywhere."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin smiled warmly at that, leaning in and resting his chin on Rob's shoulder as he slipped an arm around him.

"More good than bad, I hope? For your sake."

[goodfellow]

"This past time, yes," Robin admitted. "It was good. But I got bored."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Well, I can entertain you now," Fin promised, nipping playfully at Rob's neck and nuzzling at soft and familiar skin.

[goodfellow]

"I admit I may have spared a thought or two for you," Robin purred in response, tilting his neck up.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Only one or two? You wound me, Robin," Fin said, pretending to pout a little as he tugged the puck towards the bedroom.

[goodfellow]

"Oh, now who's impatient?" Robin teased as he let himself be dragged along. "And maybe it was three."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Is that all? I'm offended, truly hurt," Fin sighed, putting his wine down so he could dramatically flop down onto the bed.

[goodfellow]

"I suppose you could have visited," Robin said. "My companion probably wouldn't have minded."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I loathe being a third wheel," Fin replied. "Besides, leaving is... Well, I already said."

Best not to bring up Will again.

[goodfellow]

"Well you have my full attention now," Robin said, and shrugged off his suit jacket, hanging it over a chair as he looked down at Fin.
