After their short exchange outside, Robin pulled Anael inside the club so that he could bring him to a back room and do exactly as they'd promised.

The music was loud, and there were a lot of people, many wearing less clothing than they had when they'd come in.

They paused by the bar because of a bottleneck of people, and then suddenly there was a hand on Robin's shoulder. He turned, not letting go of Anael's hand. There was an older man, attractive, wearing a nice suit. "Are you Rob?" he asked, voice tight. "The owner?"

"Sure," Robin said. "But as you can see, I've already got company. You'll have to stand in line."

And then suddenly there was a fist coming hard at Robin's face and everything exploded into pain.

By this time, reinforcements had arrived, in the form of the beefy bouncer from the front entrance as well as the other security guy on duty.

"See him out," Robin said, waving a hand as he still held his other to his face, his voice sharp as the bouncer grabbed the man, who was still holding his head. "Gently," he added, not wanting them to think he wanted to guy roughed up.

Anael immediately turned back to Robin, expression full of concern. "You're bleeding." Yes, he was stating the obvious, but what he meant was that they ought to see to that.

"Yeah, I know," Robin muttered, clearly annoyed with the world at the moment. He watched to make sure that his employees got the offender out without incident, and then said, "Let's go." He glared at anyone who even looked their way as he brought Anael back to his office.

Anael followed Robin, closing the door to his office once they were both inside, and watching Robin warily. There was no need to feel anything from him to see how on edge he was right then.

"This was one of my favorite shirts," Robin muttered once they were in his office. He grabbed some tissues from off of his desk and wiped up the remaining blood on his lips, then started unbuttoning his shirt, which how covered in drops of blood was certainly ruined.

"I'm sorry," Anael told him after a beat, unsure what else to say to that, or how he could help Robin.

Robin ran his tongue along his split lip, tasting blood, and then scowled. He shoved both the shirt and the bloodied tissues into the trash.

"It's fine," he said. "Not the first time. Won't be the last." He snorted. "And I have absolutely no idea who he was pissed about, either."

"I hope that he won't get violent with them too," Anael stated, sitting gingerly on the arm of a chair. His anger, while aimed at Robin, was misplaced, but he could hope that this was the only place it would surface violently.

He was so tired of violence. He hoped he hadn't bruised him up too much, that he would be fine. He should probably have dodged that headbutt, instead of met it.

"Hopefully that got it out of his system," Robin muttered. He looked over at Anael, and then moved closer to him.

"You looked like you were about ready to take a punch for me."

"It wasn't in his power to hurt me," Anael answered easily. Although of course, he would've done the same even if it had been. "I'm afraid that I might have hurt him, instead." Even as he spoke, he reached out to rest his hands on Robin's hips, legs spreading so that the puck could stand between them.

Robin rolled his eyes. "Good, a few bruises might remind him to not call my friends names." Because that had bothered him as much as anything else, even though it seemed not to have bothered Anael.

He pushed his body between Anael's legs. "You needn't worry that he's ruined me for kissing," he murmured. "I don't mind a little pain."

Anael was still frowning, even as his fingers traced soft patterns on the warm skin of the small of Robin's back. He did not like to have hurt the man, and so soon after what happened with the Sidhe...

He kissed Robin's stomach, then tilted his head back, forcing his frown away. "Kiss me, then," he requested with a small smile.

Robin smiled, and leaned in to kiss him. It did sting his injured lip, and he hoped that Anael didn't mind a small taste of blood.

It seemed only fitting, in a way that made Anael's heart ache, but he focused on the - tenderness - Robin felt toward him as they kissed, willing to lose himself in that warmth rather than pay too much attention to his own darkness just then. His hands kept on stroking patterns on Robin's skin as they kissed, and he broke it with a soft lap of his tongue over Robin's lip, as if to soothe the hurt of kissing.

It actually felt good right now, that tenderness. Especially with the bruise Robin could feel blooming on his jaw.

"I want you to fuck me," he said when the kiss broke, not having really realized it until that moment. Something about the way Anael was kissing him made him want to be taken care of.

"Here?" Anael asked, eyebrows raising inquiringly, his hands stroking broader patterns on his back as he pushed to his feet, forcing Robin to step back. Now they were of a height, and Anael moved in for another kiss, briefer, to let Robin answer.

When the kiss broke, Robin shook his head. "Bed across the hall," he said. He thought laying down would be good, apparently the punch had given him a headache. Not that that made him want to stop this. On the contrary. He would prefer that Anael made him forget the pain.

He took Anael's hand again and pulled him out the office and to another room - a bedroom. Because, yes, obviously Robin had one of those here. There was a large bed, a wardrobe, a couch, and a large mirror above the bed.

Anael smiled at the sight of the mirror, his thumb brushing Robin's hand softly. "Do you ever not love looking at yourself?" he asked, clearly very fondly, turning into Robin and kissing his bare shoulder, cupping his face to kiss him again on the lips, soft and tender.

The cut on his lip still stung with the kisses, but Robin didn't really mind.

"I enjoy looking at myself as much as everyone else enjoys looking at me," he said when the kiss broke. "My face hurts. I want you to distract me."

Anael smiled again, eyes warm with affection, hands trailing down to Robin's belt buckle. "Your wish is my command." Clearly playful, and all too happy to focus solely on Robin, if it allowed him to work through the way he felt.

Robin closed his eyes and let out a little sigh, clearly happy to just lay back and let someone else give him pleasure.

Anael opened his belt buckle and slipped his hand in, smiling at the welcome feel of Robin's cock. His warm fingers trailed over it in a hello touch, before he pulled them back. "Sit down," he requested quietly, meaning to deal with the puck's shoes and get him completely naked.

Robin let out a small sound of pleasure when Anael touched him, and then happily complied with sitting down on the bed. "I like seeing you on your knees," he murmured.

Anael glanced up at him with a smile, fingers working on the laces of one shoe, then the next. He pulled them off, and Robin's socks, his own boots and socks disappearing with a thought. "What else do you like?" he asked, hands sliding up Robin's thighs as he knelt up to trail kisses along his jawline.

"I like..." Robin closed his eyes and sighed a little. "I like being worshipped."
