Robin smiled to himself as he walked around and sat behind the desk. "Come in."

Fin poked through the items, able to suss out what most of them were.

"I know you say you like everything, but you must have something you like over most other things," Fin noted, lingering on a feather duster and wrinkling his nose a bit at the thought of being tickled.

"I like extremes," Robin said, "though I also don't need them. You saw from our roleplaying that I'm perfectly comfortable with either side of it."

He looked towards the box, a little smile on his lips. "Though if we don't want to wear you out, you might want to find something else in there you can fuck with me."

"I'm not worn out," Fin said defensively. "I can hold my own. ...Just dunno what to do next. I'm not good at taking charge, never have been."

Toys abandoned, he sat down on the edge of the bed. "Your partner, or whatever he is, he doesn't mind all this? You fucking who you want when you want? It's really never an issue?"

Robin hesitated and then said, "Prometheus has known me for a very long time. He knows what I am. And he loves me as a whole, not just my parts."

Though he paused, and then added, "I am capable of monogamy. But he's never asked it of me. Which I'm glad for."

"He never gets jealous then? What about you? Do you ever get upset if you see him with someone?" Fin asked.

"If he gets jealous he doesn't tell me about it," said Robin. "And I don't tend to see him with anyone else. Well, we did have a threesome with Felix Harrowgate once. But that doesn't really count. I don't think I'd be jealous. After all, I'm better than anyone else he could find."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I'm sorry, you'll have to go back for a moment there- You had a threesome with Felix? As in he was naked and you were naked, and your partner was naked... And there was sex involved?" Fin asked. "But Felix is so... I mean, I don't dare breathe too hard on him. It would be like licking the Mona Lisa. Deeply satisfying, but definitely not allowed."

Robin laughed, genuinely delighted by that description. "I've done far more than lick Felix," he said. "To be honest, he's the only person I associate much with at the moment that can properly dom me. Gets as good as he gives too. And he would probably hate that I'm saying this, please keep it to yourself, hmm?"

"I agree, he'd hate me knowing that," Fin nodded, looking almost uneasy. "So as fascinating as that is and as desperately curious as it's left me, I'm just going to pretend you never said it and delete it from my mind."

"Excellent idea," Robin said. "Are there any of my past lovers I can tell you about instead? Perhaps someone from history who is long dead and will have no objections at all to my kissing and telling. Shakespeare? Marie Antoinette? David Bowie?"

"I genuinely can't tell if you're winding me up or not now," Fin snorted.

"Winding you up?" Robin arched an eyebrow. "Not in the way you think. If you think I'm lying, I don't have to. My life is too interesting to require lies. But I'd be happy to wind you up in another way. If you want to hear stories."

"I always want to hear stories," Fin said honestly. "All sorts. Any sort. I'm all ears."

Robin hummed in thought for a moment, and then suddenly moved to straddle Fin's lap. He leaned in and licked Fin's earlobe. "For a few years I had a lover who was a very, very powerful man. He enjoyed that power very much, and he was good at wielding it, but it also weighed him down. Eventually I realized that what he actually needed to be divested of that power. So for several months, for ten hours out of the day, he was my slave. He did my laundry, he made my bed, he massaged my feet, and he agreed to my every sexual command. He slept on a pillow on the floor by my bed, and every morning when my alarm went off, he would rise and bend over the mattress so that I could fuck him. He wasn't allowed to come unless I gave him permission, and sometimes would wait days - he would scream with relief and gratitude. That was a beautiful thing, how much he needed it, but acquiesced to only letting me give it to him."

"That sounds... Intense. Really intense," Fin gasped. "Exhausting even. Did you like that? Did you get off on it too?"

"Oh yes, it was quite fun for a while, but then it bored me," Robin said with a shrug. "Which is why we stopped. He seemed perfectly happy with the arrangement, but I'm guessing he found someone else to fulfill his desires. He was rich enough, he certainly could have paid someone for the pleasure." He smirked. "I did enjoy seeing him in the newspapers after that."

"I could never. I couldn't control someone like that, I don't have it in me. Don't think I could be controlled that much either," Fin admitted. "I do like being controlled, I let Hex have an awful lot of power over me- But when it's done it's done, you know? And it's not all the time. ...And I- While most of my fantasies run darker, dark enough I'm not sure I'd ever try and live them, I find lately that the parts that linger in my mind are the after. Hex always takes such care of me after. I've never... No one has ever made me feel that loved and treasured. No one," he admitted. "Even my parents never seemed to treasure me. ...But he does."

He frowned then.

"It's terrifying."

Robin wasn't entirely sure how to respond to that, particularly since he was still on Fin's lap. "Not everything is for everyone," he said after a moment, and then, a touch awkwardly, "And I'm happy for you."

"Don't be," Fin replied seriously. He knew himself well enough to know it wouldn't last. He could fuck up even the most perfect of things.

"You still haven't told me what you like, you know. You'll tell me stories about who you've fucked and what they like, but it's never about you. I mean, not outside of bragging rights."

Robin gave this a moment's thought, and then answered seriously. "What I like varies according to who I'm with. I don't want the same thing from you that I want from Felix. Or from Prometheus. Or from the ten beautiful people I could go pick up out in the club if I wanted to."

"And what is it, exactly, you want when you're with me? I mean, I know it's not one thing, it's probably never one thing with anyone, but- What do you want most from me?" Fin asked.

Robin considered this. "I guess that one of the things I've enjoyed about you is the sense of... discovery. Your delight and wonder in exploring new things. Making you feel new things. That's why asked earlier."

"Do you think you'll be bored of me once I've learned and experienced it all?" the fae asked.

[goodfellow]

"Definitely not," Robin said with a little smile. "People change in their desires over time. Besides, I don't think I'm as easily bored as you." He winked.

Resting his hands on Robin's sides, Fin seemed to consider that for a moment before nodding. "I guess it does change," he admitted. "I don't think I could be bored with you though, for whatever it's worth."
