Michael was going to stand there and watch Robin. Wait him out. Either Robin would try something, and Michael wasn't sure yet how he would respond to any given attempt, or he would finally, eventually, adjust his behaviour. Either way, Michael got to watch him in the meantime, and he wasn't exactly hard on the eyes, naked and bound as he was.
